I decided to start a saltwater tank after having a freshwater tank and wanting to challenge myself more. I currently use instant ocean.

I got into the hobby when I went over to a friends house and saw her beautiful reef, I’m all about sustainability and captive breeding. It’s amazing how far the hobby has progressed in the last 10 years. I currently use instant ocean salt on my 3 systems! Thanks

I started in saltwater because of the fact that there are so many options with a saltwater tank compared to freshwater (fish, coral, inverts, etc.). I currently use instant ocean

About 6 years ago I started a 50 gallon FOWLER after being out of the hobby for 20 years. This rekindled my addiction. I know run a 125 mixed reef and have always used IO. Once I upgraded to reef I switched to IO Reef Crystals

1. Long time freshwater tank experience and decided it was finally time to tackle the challenge of keeping the ocean in my home
2. Instant Ocean (recently switched from Reef Crystals, due to consistently high mag levels)
