  • Owner: Jackie A. from Internet Marketing Department
  • Breed: Shih tzu/ Bichon Mix
  • Age: 4 years old
  • Birthday: January 13, 2008

FAVORITES & TALENTS:

  • Favorite Treats: Pig Ears, bananas, Sweet Potato Treats, and LiverSnax. I’ll do just about anything for one of those.
  • Favorite Possession: Skinneez and a de-stuffed (did that myself) armadillo toy.
  • Tricks: Sit, Lay Down, Dance. Also, working on shaking paws right now.
  • Dog-Snooping

  • Hobbies: Snuggling – I’m the best at it. Sitting in the yard or on my swing and feeling the breeze. Being the boss of the house. I may be small, but I know exactly what I’m doing. I love walking and going for rides (cars, boats and bikes!). I also cannot resist a good piece of paper. Any kind will do: tissue, mail, newspaper, flyers, toilet paper. I see it and just have to shred it.

FAMILY:

  • Canine Siblings: Beau and Baxter
  • How I found my home: My pet-parents found me on Petfinder.com. I was their very first dog. I went home with them in January and weighed only 3lbs when I was a baby.

Mine dogs would mark their birthday (for the one for which we know her birthday) or their Gotcha day (for the rescue boy… we don’t know his birthday, so we celebrate his Gotcha Day on the anniversary of his adoption)! Why? Because they get Cake and Frosty Paws, of course! Any day with cake and Frosty Paws is an important day. 🙂

(Dog calendar, please.)

My dog would mark August 31st, which is the day he joined his family and got out the small cage he called a home.

Dog calender of course!! =)

It would be their birthday!!!!!
Roo gets a carrot cake and a cheeseburger from mcdonalds as well as lots of toys and presants. She knows when her birthday is comming because she gets to pick out all of her own presants at Drs. Foster and smith retail store, like a PandaRoo shopping spree! Then on her special day June 27th she gets to open her box of goodies, and have a great dinner and cake. Every year, there is a cow hoof in there…course every time we go to the store she always picks a cow hoof.

(dog calander please)

My Newf would mark Feb. 1st because it is his boy’s birthday…..his boy will be 14 this year. His boy has special needs and Mike protects him. Mike is amazing with him. Things Mike would normally not put up with he allows his boy to do.
My Golden would mark May because it is the start to swim season. He loves when we take our trip to Lake Camelot.
My Yorkie will mark March because she is our foster baby and she goes to her new home in ILL. that month.

I LOVE MY DOGS

I’d like to think that Lola would mark the day she came home with us — October 21. I want to say that it was the happiest day of her life, knowing that she was going to her forever home, but she’d apparently been very much loved her entire life up to that point. She’s never been fearful, and she even had some basic training under her belt, besides being completely housetrained.

We thank her foster families in our hearts every day for helping us connect with Lola and for giving her such an incredible start to life, as well as Hope for Hannah Rescue and PetFinder.com for being the perfect “middle men.”

Either way, I know that October 21 is always going to be a special day for us, even if it was just another awesome day for Lola. 🙂

My dog would mark both his (supposed) birthday, and his adoption day, which means he gets extra treats on both days from his Grandma… Both are on the 13th, and he was adopted on Friday the 13th, so any Friday the 13th has special meaning too!
My bunny would mark every day on his calendar to make sure that his treats are not forgotten! Especially if he thinks he can bribe more than one out of me!

… Bunny calendar please!

I think my cats would mark EVERY day as special since they are in this world. After all, they are cats, and the universe revolves around them.
Every day they find a way to remind me their species was once worshipped as gods, and Rascal & Wesa feel entitled to some of that worship – right this very minute, minions!
Rascal’s birthday is extra-special since it is the birthday of a deity-in-training; he’ll be 3 in May.
Wesa’s adoption day is when we celebrate her birthday too, which makes it so much more important! Ssh, the goddess doesn’t tell everyone, but she just turned 15 years old!

(Cat calendar, please)

National Guide Dog for the Blind Day, Take your pet to work Day, National Adoption Month ( not just for people) Arbor Day.

All four of my dogs (1 Boxer mix and three Chinese Cresteds!) would mark their birthdays, cause they get special treats for those days and new toys! They would probably add yesterday (National Peanut Butter Day) too, because they think Peanut Butter is a very important food group!

Dog calendar, please! 🙂

Nancy January 25, 2012 at 11:55 am

My ‘Chili’ pup would recognize her adoption day, we don’t know her birthday because she was a rescue pup. I would love to have the cat calendar.

Dominique F January 25, 2012 at 3:36 pm

My 4 are crazy about the edibles!! Otter would mark September 29th – National Coffee Day as his favorite…he can’t stop smelling coffee aromas and licking his lips. Ginger would celebrate March 14th – National Potato Chip Day…he steals chips all the time! Pumpkin would host a National Crown Roast of Pork Day party on the 7th of March…his life revolves around all things pork. And the newest addition, Freckles, hasn’t had any human food yet, but thinks he loves spicy food…so January 16th or International Hot and Spicy Food Day would be his best!

Since three of the four are Kitties, let’s go with the Cat calendar please! 😀
