OMG … never heard of this before. But makes so much sense. What a great idea … leave it to DFS! Would absolutely love to try this with Andy, our year and half old, and Obie, our 4 year old, Golden Retrievers. Can’t keep them in toys and chews …. they just gnaw through everything. The toy box is getting low. Thank you, DFS!! … Andy’s and Obie’s mom.
Maggie, my two year old Golden ate part of a stuffed toy and it was stuck in her stomach. After a long surgery with a 30% chance of making it through she is fine. She is no longer allowed to have any stuffed toys, rawhide chews, or most anything. The antlers would be something that she could chew on. She misses out on alot of toys because of this. This might be the answer.
i have 7 dogs, most of them aggressive chewers. this would be a great way to keep them busy and keep their mouths healthy!
I almost lost one of my German Shepherds to Nylabones my baby girl developed a blockage. We were able to save her but we had a couple of days I wouldn’t want to relive and I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. So I have been looking for something to satisfy their craving to chew. This is the first I have heard of the deer antlers. So I would love to try them!
I’ve got a Jack Russell that’s a chewer! Demolishes a knee cap in a short time! Would love to see if she would like an antler! Thanks!
Out of this world! My Molly loves to chew…everything but now ir the antler.I now have shoes!
Her teeth were brown with her old treats and needed to get a cleaning. She has had a remarkable success with the antler to remove her tartar and freshen her breath. This is a win- win for all involved!
My two corgis love chewing stuff! Sounds like a great product and I think my dogs would love it!
Out of my 4 dogs, I have one exceptionally veracious chewer…she makes short work of anything I give her…I’ve been curious to see if antlers will be the key…hopefully this will be our chance to try!
My 100lb lab, aptly named Chewy, can destroy a Kong toy in 30 minutes. In his puppy years, he pulled a gutter off the house and chewed it up. Chewy NEEDS an antler to satisfy his need to CHEW!!
I would love to try the deer antlers..I have a Miniature Pinscher who loves to eat and has been on a diet for the pass 4 months(loss 2 lbs) I would love to give her one of these to chew to give her something to do..she loves to chew and most chews are not diet friendly. Thank you for this offer…We love DFS they have the best products!<3
Hi,
My standard poodle Gordo is always mistakenly called a deer by people who have no clue what kind of dog he is, so what better chewie than a deer antler!
I have a 12 year old lab that doesn’t chew or play with toys anymore but when I found a small antler chew at tractor supply that I bought for our boxer mix puppy the lab keeps taking it but I am afraid to let her chew on it because its small and I was afraid she might choke on it. These are wonderful chew toys, the dogs love them and they last a long time but haven’t been able to find bigger ones.
Finally something that’s affordable and long-lasting, my rottweiler will love it. I’m tired of buying expensive so called “indestructible” chew toys for him only to see pieces everywhere the next day. So happy to see antlers!
Anyone who has had an American Bulldog knows they several things exceptionally well: snuggling, guarding, pulling and CHEWING!
My little darling Angel is no exception.
Just when I thought there was nothing that existed short of steel that my girl could not destroy I found antlers. Truly a Godsend!
They are natural and long lasting and I dont have to worry about large chunks breaking off like you have with rubber and rawhide!
I do not need to win one for my dog since i already got him one for x-mas! he loves it. but I would love to get one for my best friend’s dog who seems to chew on everything in the house! Her shoe collection is diminishing rapidly. lol
Wow!!! Who knew deer antlers could be a chew for a dog. I have two Coonhound rescues and boy are they chewers. I’ve tried Kong and the only one that has lasted somewhat is the black version for tough chewers. I’ve also tried Nylabone and they last for maybe a week but that is it and they get expensive. I would LOVE to have some of these for Snoopy and Sally Brown. Let me know if you need a picture of my fur babies. I sure do hope we get picked! Either way I’ll have to look into this deer antler chew. Very interesting!!!
9 month old puppy…need I say more
I have 3 yellow labs that love to chew! There’s no toy that has survived Oscar, Max and Emma! I would love for my 3 babies to try these bones and challenge them to chew through them!
Why? To save my furniture! LOL
My Labrador puppy is eating my house…literally! Last week it was the siding, and now it is my steps to the house. Inside the house, she has eaten a chair and several pairs of shoes. Help! I have tried raw-hides, puzzle toys, exercise, kongs, etc….I’d love to try the antlers!
Our three dogs would love them bc we just had a foster Doberman who ate and shredded all their toys. Now they have maybe 2 they all fight over, help!
My bulldog pup is a huge chewer! Rawhides and other chew toys are easily and quickly destroyed, and we found she has a very sensitive stomach and cannot handle ingesting the small bits that she shreds off. We would love to try a deer antler! Many thanks!
would love to find something my callie doesn’t chew thru in a heartbeat. she goes thru a rawhide 3x faster than her sister, piper.
Although my dog, Wizard, is a mere 10 pounds, he can chew like a BIG boy!! I would LOVE to win a deer antler chew to see how Wizard likes it! I am very cautious of what I give him to chew on. So far, a few kong toys, a nylabone, and fresh, trimmed beef knuckles from my local butcher. I hope to offer Wizard an antler chew someday and winning one would be amazing!!
Thank you!
I have two adult dogs and one puppy who all love to chew and would love the opportunity to try these, thank you!
My dog would love to win this! We have gone through and tried about all dog chews and treats made for heavy chewers, he has never destroyed a single thing at all, but gets real bones all the time (cow femurs ) as the only thing that lasts him longer than 10 minutes. I would love to find a safe and longer lasting chew that he would enjoy as much as his normal treats! Please please please! it would be awesome!
Our dogs get raw marrow bones as a special treat every Friday. I am guessing this would be an extra special treat. Thank you for this fantastic giveaway. I plan to purchase some in the future whether we win or not.
I would love to get a sample for the family dog, Jessie. She’s 15 and to our knowledge, never had a deer antler to chew on! Jessie is a big girl, a boxer mix and keeps Uncle Raymond company 24/7. He’s had several strokes and Jessie is slowing down due to her age & arthritis, but they don’t mind each others limitations one bit.
C’mon, give the old dog a deer antler, so she can brag to her doggie friends!
Thank you very muh!
Here at the Barking Dog Ranch we have 10 big chewers! And in all of our years of hunting we have never thought to give them deer antlers, but here you go with a great idea. We rescue dogs that need a second chance and give them everything in the world they could ever want…I think they would want to try these. Yippee for DFS!
I have a female brindle pit that loves to chew! These would be perfect for her!
I have two yellow labs, and they love to chew on raw hide, but it never lasts more than two days.. I would love to give them something they will not devour in hours. Aslo trust Fosters and Smith wtih all my pet need, have not gotten anything yet that was not what they said. Will always buy from Fosters and Smith for my pet needs. Thank you for caring about my pets.
These sound wonderful. I have a 100+ lb. greyhound who loves “chewies”. If you even say that word he goes bonkers and spins and jumps like a little kid. I would love to try these for him. Thanks
Ozzie needs one of these-he just had surgery and has to stay quiet for 6 weeks! this would give him something to do when he is stuck in his kennel.
I would LOVE to try one for my cocker spaniels. They love bully sticks and nylabones
and I am always looking for something new for them to chew on. My larger Cocker
is really a tough chewer and I have to be extremely careful with what I give him.
Jace and Brie would love to try deer antlers
I would love for my Bella, a 50 lb. Australian Shepherd mix, to try one of these Deer Antlers! I have been searching and searching for a safe, long lasting chew for her. I just recently purchased a chew that was supposed to be “long lasting”. It was approximately 8″ long and I timed her while eating it. It was gone in exactly FOUR MINUTES! I just kept staring at her saying, “really? really?”. I seriously need a “long lasting” chew that is truly “long lasting”.
the farm dogs are big on chewing, the deer antlers would be just the thing to keep them blissfully occupied
My dogs love antlers! They are indestructible, even for the heaviest chewers. My 90lb pit bull/lab mix can’t even destroy them.
This sounds great; I have two Labradors and they love bones. I currently get some from our local butcher and they think they are great;
@Deer Antlers For Dogs…what a great idea. Can’t wait for PeeWee to get his teeth on this!
i have 2 100 pound labs that get a rawhide everynight. they have had the hooves and other type of chewies, but all of these are chewed up in no time. i would love to try these antlers. they are natural, and long chewing. i love foster and smith and have been a customer for quite some time now.I need something that is long lasting to chew, these rawhides are costing me a fortune and i don’t think they should be chewing them up everynight. I have to give them something to chew on, they look for it everynight.
for one never tried them with my Gibbs. he is a very big dog and I need something that will last for him to chew. he goes through raw hide in an hour. he has alot of energy and chewing burns off that energy. He takes bones and chews them down then he throws them up the next day cause they don’t digest in his stomach. we need him to beable to chew. I have found really nothing to keep him contened for more then an half hour. he is a St Bernard/German Shepherd mix. might say half a cow. but he is beautiful color and a very rough loveable dog.
My recuse Beagle mix, Ophelia, would love to try deer antlers. She always enjoys chasing deer in the backyard and gets super excited about the smell of venison cooking. She’s pretty picky about her rawhide chews, so I wonder what she’d think about chewing on deer antlers. I like them because they are all natural, help clean her teeth, and keep her occupied while I do schoolwork.
We are always looking for tough chew options to keep our dogs busy and happy. Our family is blessed with a Golden Retriever, Pembroke Welsh Corgi and 2 Shih-tzu’s. So far, our guys (and gal!) prefer natural bones rather than the artificial Nylabones. Looking forward to trying the antlers!
We have a dog that can disembowel a stuffed toy in under 5 minutes. The “tough” ones take 10! She loves to chew and I would love for her to try the antlers. Thanks!
My dogs are hounds and MAJOR chewers. I’ve been unemployed for a year and we’ve all been living on much less than what we’re used to. I know they would really appreciate a new chew!
I have seen the dog antlers in the stores but for the cost of them I have never bought one and also because IM not sure if my 7 month old Chocolate Lab would like it. She loves to chew anything from the sheetrock on my walls, to the sofa she has so many different kinds of toys, kongs, nylabones and nothing seems to last. We now have a 8 week old yellow lab who is into chewing and need to get them both something to keep them busy and not trying to bit eachother. I would love to win one and make sure they love it before spending money on something they wont like. Thank you
I’d love for my Lexi to try one! She loves to chew and lick.
I have 2 dogs, Calley a 13 year old shepher/collie mix, and Charlie an 8 year old cockerspaniel. The big name chews and leather chews are no challenge to these two, nothing more than dog biscuits. Please, if Charlie and Calley are picked, could you send 2? They are very territorial.
Need one of these to keep my dog happy!
