Employees at Drs. Foster & Smith Pet Supplies share their passion for pets by writing stories and experiences about their own pets here on our Pet Blog. Learn more about their pets in our Featured Employee Pet Series.

QUICK STATS:
Featured Pet, Beau

  • Name: Beau (short for Lambeau – because I’m a Packer fan!)
  • Owner: Jackie A. from Internet Marketing
  • Breed: Pit Bull Mix
  • Age: About 3 years old
  • Birthday: September 21st (Day I was adopted in 2010 – almost one year ago!)
  • Weight: 75 lbs

FAVORITES & TALENTS:

  • Favorite Treats: Pig Ears and Cow Ears
  • Favorite Possession: My stuffed shark
  • Tricks: Sit, Lay Down, Wait, Shake Hands
  • Hobbies: Playing fetch with tennis balls (I’m very particular), swimming at the lake during the summer, going for car rides, going to doggy daycare, squirrel watching, playing with my dog brothers, and sunbathing.

FAMILY:

  • Canine Siblings: Murphy and Baxter
  • How I found my home: I was found as a stray in central Wisconsin. I was taken to a rescue facility and my ad was posted on PetFinder. My pet-parents saw it online, drove down to meet me and I have been with them ever since!

Featured-Dog

Jackie and her husband share their home with their two small dogs, Murphy and Baxter, and a pit bull mix, Beau. As a first-time dog owner, Jackie finds it endearing that her dogs, though small in size, are so large in personality. Jackie works in the Internet Marketing Department at Drs. Foster and Smith and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.
