Drs. Foster & Smith at the Movies

One of the fun things about being in the pet supply business at Drs. Foster and Smith is the product line we work with is for warm and fuzzy dogs and cats and other lovable pets. Because of the kinds of products we sell, we are occasionally called on by movie studios to see if we would like to supply products for pets on set or for on-screen placement. Every so often, we’ll say yes.

One such movie that has recently been released is called The Dogfather© staring Chris Parnell and Brandi Ward. The Dogfather is a family- friendly movie about a fun- loving dog that accidently eats the ring of his owner, a Mafia Godfather. All sorts of hi-jinks ensue, as the Godfather sends his henchmen to chase down the Dogfather in hopes of retrieving the ring.

Running for his life, The Dogfather winds up being adopted by a family whose children defend the Dogfather with soft-foam nerf “weapons.” It’s a fun family pet movie that your kids will enjoy.

As you watch it, look for our products. You’ll see our dog food bags, dog toys and dog treats from time to time in the movie. Dogs love our stuff! Even celebrity movie dogs.
