Like many of you, I do a lot of my shopping online. You will find me oftentimes at my computer at home at 5:00 AM shopping via Google. My subconscious believes that shopping at that ridiculous hour in the morning means items are less costly while my conscience KNOWS that doesn’t make any difference! However, that is not the issue of this posting… the issue is TIMELY SHIPPING!

Last Friday I placed an order online. I ordered two items and both were available for shipping. Nothing was personalized nor did I request any special handling. When I was at the checkout, I noticed the usual shipping charges, taxes and what? A HANDLING CHARGE? I was charged $1.95 for someone to take the item and put it in the box!

All right, I thought, I should have my order shortly. However, I just received notice this morning (6 days later) that my order was ready to ship but had NOT shipped yet! Are you kidding me??? It is taking a week to get two items ready to ship!

Here at Drs. Foster and Smith pet supplies, we have signs throughout our building saying “We service our customers within 24 hours.” This means just that… orders that are placed are typically out the door within 24 hours. We guarantee our orders are to our customers within 4-7 business days. If there is a problem, we take care of it. We ROCK!!! Now, if we only sold bedsheets….
