Drs. Foster and Smith is the first and only veterinarian-owned, online pet pharmacy to have received both of the following prestigious accreditations.

  • National Association Boards of Pharmacy Vet-VIPPS Seal
  • Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB).

Vet-VIPPS
Vet-VIPPS stands for Veterinary-Verified Internet Pharmacy Practice Sites. The Vet-VIPPS Seal means that our pharmacy site and prescription and fulfillment processes have been reviewed and approved by the National Association Boards of Pharmacy and meet the stringent criteria of the Vet-VIPPS program. Vet-VIPPS accredits online pharmacies that dispense prescription drugs and assures customers that they are purchasing drugs and devices from an online pharmacy that is properly licensed and complies with state and federal laws and regulations

Qualifying Vet-VIPPS Pharmacies must provide verification of all necessary information regarding licensing and policy maintenance, prescription integrity, patient/client confidentiality and much more. The strictness of the criteria is designed to ensure that only the most qualified pharmacies will receive this accreditation. Vet-VIPPS accreditation ensures that an Internet pharmacy is a bona fide pharmacy, and it is the best way for customers to determine that they are getting the quality care they deserve.

PCAB
Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB) accreditation is awarded only to those compounding pharmacies that have successfully demonstrated superior quality and safety in their compounding practices.

Compounding medications is an integral part of the practice of pharmacy and the demand for these customized medications are increasing every year. Examples of compounded prescriptions are:

  • Change dosages & strengths of medications for companion animals
  • Combine medications or customize formulation
  • Add the flavors your pet or horse loves
  • Create alternative dosage forms
  • Compound discontinued pet meds

“Our new Vet-VIPPS and PCAB Accreditations show just how serious our commitment is to protecting and ensuring the health and well being of your pets.” said Dr. Race Foster. “As veterinarians we employ nothing but the highest-quality and safest pharmacy practices.”
