Westminster Dog Show – Night 1 – Group Competition Review

Tonight we saw competition in the first four groups: Hound, Toy, Non-Sporting and Herding.

Hound Group Winner: Whippet

Winners in the Hound Group were: Group 1: Whippet – Ch. Starline’s Chanel Group 2: Greyhound – Ch. Grandcru Clos Erasmus Group 3: Scottish Deerhound – Ch. Foxcliffe Hickory Wind Group 4: PBGV – Ch. Rokeena Carte Blanche

Toy Group Winner: Poodle

Winners in the Toy Group were: Group 1: Poodle – Ch. Smash JP Moon Walk Group 2: Pekingese – Ch. Linn-Lee’s For The Good Times Group 3: Shih Tzu – Ch. Hallmark Jolei Austin Powers Group 4: Papillon – Ch. Forevr Errol Flynn

Non-Sporting Group Winner: French Bulldog

Winners in the Non-Sporting Group were: Group 1: French Bulldog – Ch. Robobull Fabelhaft Im On Fire Group 2: Chinese Shar-Pei – Ch. Chaoyang Chick Magnet At Asia Group 3: Bulldog – Ch. Kepley’s Showbiz Razzle Dazzle Group 4: Miniature Poodle – Ch. Splash Di Caprio

Herding Group Winner: Puli

Winners in the Herding Group were: Group 1: Puli – Ch. Cordmaker Field Of Dreams Group 2: Belgian Sheepdog – Ch. Uri De Beauvoir Group 3: Bearded Collie – Ch. Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins Group 4: German Shepherd – Ch. Kridler’s Nutmeg V Signature

The last three Groups to compete tomorrow night will be the Sporting, Working and Terrier Groups. The winners of those three groups will advance to face the Group 1 winners listed above for Best in Show!
